The Namib Race is a 7-day, 250km / 155-mile footrace that takes place within the oldest desert and the largest dunes in the world.
Through the seven days, competitors will experience some of the most stunning and iconic desert landscapes. The course takes you through amazing desert scenery including wide-open red plains, scattered mountain outcrops, huge expanses of dramatic sane dunes, moon-like landscapes, Atlantic waves crashing against the sandy desert shore-line, and a fantastic array of plants and animals.
You had a clear and easy-to-understand bespoke training plan designed for you so you knew what you needed to complete each day to move you closer to the start line of your first 250km multi-stage race.

DescriptiOnce we’ve had our discovery call and decided on a coaching start date, i’ll start with the onboarding process.
You’ll receive an initial intake form and i’ll start set up of your training plan.
You’ll typically receive your schedule in 2 week blocks and the sessions will be loaded into TrainingPeaks. When you complete the sessions, the data from you GPS watch will sync into TrainingPeaks.
Feedback and analysis on training sessions are discussed on TrainingPeaks or in our monthly coaching sessions.on text goes here

Absolutely not, you can join the team from anywhere in the world. Inside the previous cohorts, we've had athletes from the UK, US and as far as Singapore.
Breaking 250 is an online programme and community.

Yes, I participate in the race like the rest of the team. However I am not racing, I am there for you and what it is you need. I provide support back at camp and will stay by your side during tougher sections.

Unfortunately these things happen. This is run on a case by case basis and I will consider pausing run coaching for long standing injuries greater than 3 months.
If you sign up to the 12-month term you’ll get access to one free 45-minute physiotherapy session (online or in-person) with HWC partner physiotherapist, Lucy Sacarello.
